This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how the publisher of smartsmartspend (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the smallsmartspend mobile application (the “App”) on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and compatible platforms where the App is offered). It is written to align with the App Privacy labels we publish in App Store Connect for the App.
By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is a personal finance and budgeting tool. Core bookkeeping data is stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks.
We do not require you to create a separate smallsmartspend login; there is no smallsmartspend account system inside the App beyond what is stored locally on your device and what Apple provides for purchases.
In App Store Connect, we disclose the following data types as collected or processed through the App, consistent with the sections below:
Other Financial Information
Photos or Videos (access for OCR)
Audio Data (microphone / voice entry)
Purchases (In-App Purchase / subscriptions)
Other User Content (user-generated text that may be included when you use certain cloud features)
Subscriptions use Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit). We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple for those purchases.
AI Summary sends a structured financial summary (and related sample lines) to servers we control to generate text for you. We use this only for App functionality, it is linked to you in the sense described in Apple’s developer reporting, and we do not use it for cross-app tracking or advertising as described in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.
OCR uses Apple’s Vision framework on your device; we do not upload your full photo library.
Voice entry uses the microphone and Apple’s Speech recognition services according to Apple’s terms; audio is processed for transcription, not sold by us.
Exchange rates for currency conversion may be fetched from a public market-data API over HTTPS; those requests are not used to build a personal dossier beyond what is needed to show converted amounts in the App.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
