booboji (“the App”) is developed and operated by the booboji team (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

booboji is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require an account, we do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.

Information stored on your device

The App may store the following locally on your device using Apple’s standard storage mechanisms (such as UserDefaults):

• Your selected proverb language
• Your notification preferences (on/off and preferred time)
• Your daily proverb and background selections, so the App can show today’s content and your archive consistently

This information stays on your device unless you delete the App or reset your device.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App uses Apple’s local notification system to send you one daily proverb at the time you choose. Notification permission is requested through iOS/macOS. We do not receive or store your notification schedule on our servers.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, or other contact details
• Precise location
• Health, financial, or government ID information
