MemoryBt Privacy Policy

Who we are MemoryBt is an iPhone memory app. You can dump text, voice, photos, links, files, scans, moods, and chat questions. The app can turn those scraps into to-dos and reminders, draw a heatmap of your recording trail, write weekly and monthly reviews, and answer questions from your own records. This policy explains what information we handle when you use MemoryBt.

Information you provide • Notes you type, speak, or import • Source material you add: pasted text, links we fetch, files, photo OCR, and scanned pages • Moods you mark • Questions and answers in Ask • Display-language preference • Notification and sound preferences • Support emails you send to us

What we send to our servers When you save a record (on a plan that includes instant organize), generate a weekly or monthly review, or ask a question, the relevant text is sent to our servers so we can call our AI providers and return the result. We use this only to fulfill that request. We do not run a MemoryBt account system. We do not ask you to create a password with us.

What stays on your device • Saved notes, to-dos, threads, reviews, Ask history, and heatmap data • Display-language, reminder, and monthly-use counters • Local notification schedules for to-dos • Speech-to-text and photo / scan OCR run on your iPhone. Microphone audio and photos are not uploaded unless you later organize or ask using the extracted text

Permissions you may grant • Microphone and speech recognition, if you record voice • Photo library, if you pick photos • Camera, if you scan pages • Notifications, if you turn on reminders

Purchases Plus and Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. We receive an entitlement that you subscribed. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

AI and other processors Our servers may send generation requests to AI providers acting on our behalf. They process the content only to produce the result you asked for. Apple processes payments. If you paste a link, we fetch that page to extract text for your note.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your notes, moods, or questions for advertising.

Retention Records you keep in the app stay on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and debugging.

Children MemoryBt is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.

Your choices You can delete notes and complete or ignore to-dos in the app. You can turn off notifications and sound in Settings. You can stop sending new content to our servers by not using instant organize, Review generation, or Ask (Free users who have used their monthly AI allowance can still save records on the device). You can email us to ask questions about this policy.

Changes If we update this policy, we will change the date above.
