Koluba Privacy Policy

Who we are Koluba is an AI learning app. This policy explains what information we handle when you use Koluba.

Information you provide • Learning goals and any text you type • Source material you add: pasted text, links we fetch, files, photo OCR, and scanned pages • Display-language preference • Your choice to allow or refuse AI processing • Support emails you send to us

What we send, and to whom When you generate a course, quiz, flashcards, or a lesson image — and only after you tap Allow — the relevant text is sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope to produce that result.

We do not send this content for advertising or profiling. We do not sell your personal information.

What stays on your device • Saved courses, quiz history, flashcards, and downloaded images • Display-language preference • Monthly generation counters • Lesson audio is spoken on your iPhone or iPad with Apple’s built-in speech. That spoken audio is not uploaded to our servers.

Purchases Plus and Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. We receive an entitlement that you subscribed. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

AI and other processors Alibaba Cloud DashScope processes the submitted text only to generate the course, quiz, flashcards, or image you requested.

You can refuse AI processing. If you refuse, generation features will not run. You can turn sharing off later in Settings.

Retention Generated files you keep in the app stay on your device until you delete the course or the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and debugging.

Children Koluba is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.

Your choices You can delete a course in the Library. You can stop sending new content by not generating, or by turning off AI processing in Settings. You can email us to ask questions about this policy.

Changes If we update this policy, we will change the date above.
